CBLDF Auction

The San Diego Comic Con is rapidly approaching. One of the really neat things that happens there is an art auction to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. They are a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection of the First Amendment rights of the comics art form and its community of retailers, creators, publishers, librarians, and readers. Although their focus is on comic books, their work helps to influence legal precedent that extends to all forms of free speech.

This year I was asked to contribute to their annual auction by the fine people at Things From Another World (a fine chain of comic shops). They will also be making sketch cards of this drawing that will be available at the convention.

So the point is that you are required to go to the San Diego Comic Con and to bid on my drawing so that we can save the world. The world thanks you in advance.
