I painted this a few years back. It's kind of a ripoff of a panel in Harvy Kurtzman's "Corps on the Imjin". Kutztman's early bush style is one of the most exciting things in the world to me. It's as if Milton Caniff dropped acid and listened to some crazy jazz LPs just before sitting down to draw.

what is bush style?

When I say "brush style" I'm referring to the way that he used a brush to ink his drawings. Many people ink with a brush but Harvey Kurtzman had a very specific type of line quality that I haven't seen anywhere else. That's his style.

Does that answer your question?
